Punctuation is not an excuse.

Some things in life catch us off guard. They are completely unpredictable.

But most of the time, life is pretty unsurprising.

The majority of life is comprised of events that occur frequently, regularly, and sometimes even on schedule.

Experience allows us to prepare for these moments, to compensate. That is how we learn, how we grow, and how we improve.

Right?

Right.

So why are you still so taken off guard by an event that has happened once every month to you and women like you, beginning with your early teenage years, since the dawn of time?

I’m talking about your period of course.

But more specifically, how you still respond to its arrival.

I mean, you know its coming, you know the side effects, so this should be old hat. And yet once a month, all hell breaks lose.

The attitude, the emotional sensitivity, the cravings…. yeah, we get it. But what doesn’t fly is how this menstrual moment is often played off as an excuse, a justification even, for your behavior.

BUT GET THIS….acting like a emotional tornado is not excusable just because you’re “punctual.”

You know its coming. You know what happens when it does. So plan accordingly. And if/when you do rage out of control with a hyper-emotional fit, don’t play the “well I have my period” card. Just apologize.

There, I said it.

WIFEABLE IS COOL…

Yeah men do have this problem…they’re complaining about it and are affected by it obviously…..what’s the alternative….it’s the cycle of life, learn to deal with it men, it will make you a better boyfriend, father, husband and grandfather. Acept it and understand it…Wifeable HAH….Husbandable! I say!

How about just leaving her alone for a few days or hours…not feeling well, don’t go out or hang with person, sick? Stay home….that’s how it goes usually, don’t go to work, school or your boyfriend’s house, he doesn’t have to visit you either…if he’s complaining about your irritable mood..it gets better as you get older, fear not men….”we can handle it” and our moods…why make an issue out of it? it’s life, just the beginning for those of you not married or in long term live-in relationship…this is nothing, wait til pregnancy and then there’s perimenopause, thats hormones raging for sure!
